The Alocasia Cuprea Latte Variegated is a rare species native to Borneo, carrying the signature coppery appearance with latte colouring and variegation patterns on leaves that can reach up to 60cm long.

This rare variegated cultivar holds the interest of serious enthusiasts with metallic leaves in varying hues of ruby red, set off by the variegation. Also known as the Mirror Plant for its iridescent, luminous quality, the waxy, thick, glossy leaves are at their best when backlit or in sunshine, when they appear to glow bright red.

Suited to dedicated collectors drawn to Borneo's native flora, this variegated form combines the coppery metallic appearance with variegation that adds another dimension to already distinctive foliage. Large leaf size, a metallic finish and rare variegation together make this a collector's houseplant that holds a room.
All plants are grown in Fluval Stratum, our preferred early-stage medium for corms and baby Alocasia, held in our 3D printed Corm Keeper stand. Once fully rooted and at juvenile size we repot into our own pon mix, blended from components in our Soil Ninja range.

Alocasia thrive off good lighting. The use of grow lights can help with darker areas of your home.
Humidity & Water
The only rule! Don't over water, keep your substrate moist, not wet. Less is more in every watering. High humidity is essential; aim for 60% or higher. Use a humidifier, pebble tray, or regular misting
