MATURE ALOCASIA PLANTS

Mature Alocasia are for collectors who want the full impact immediately. Established specimens with developed root systems, several leaves in active growth, and variegation that is fully expressed and visible from the moment they arrive. There is no waiting and no gradual reveal. A mature plant from this collection is ready to take its place in your grow space from day one.

Mature plants reach us two ways. Most are grown on here from corm, raised from our own mother plants or from corms collected from growers we trust, and carried through every stage of development by us. A smaller number are established plants brought in as stem cuttings or tissue cultured stock that has already been grown on and acclimatised. Those we establish in our own substrates and grow on here before they are listed, which is why nothing in this collection goes on the site the week it arrives. Whichever route a plant took, we know its growth pattern and exactly what variegation to expect from it going forward.

Mature plants represent the most significant investment in our collection and we treat them accordingly. Each one is individually assessed before listing, photographed to show its current condition accurately, and packed with the care a plant of this value deserves. If you are looking for a statement specimen that arrives ready to perform, you will find it here.
