Plant Description
The Alocasia Macrorrhizos ‘Black Stem’ Albo has, as the name already hints, dark purple stems that are almost black. This colouring also runs through the veins, giving a deep purple cast to the leaf.
The Albo form carries half moon variegation alongside that deep purple, and it suits anyone looking for something less ordinary.
All plants are grown in Fluval Stratum, our preferred early-stage medium for corms and baby Alocasia, held in our 3D printed Corm Keeper stand. Once fully rooted and at juvenile size we repot into our own pon mix, blended from components in our Soil Ninja range.
