This is one of the rarest variegated Alocasia in circulation, a cultivar that sits at the intersection of two of the most sought-after variegation types in the collector hobby, combining crisp white albo sectors with soft pink colouration on a species that is itself seldom seen outside specialist collections.
Alocasia brancifolia is already a distinctive species, known for deeply lobed, strongly structured foliage that sets it apart from the broader-leaved forms that dominate the market. 'Pink Passion Albo Pink' takes that canvas and layers in variegation of genuine complexity. White and blush-pink sectors appear across the rich green foliage, shifting in intensity and distribution with every new leaf. As a chimeric albo expression, no two leaves will be identical, and the balance between white, pink and green is unpredictable in the best possible way, which makes each unfurl worth waiting for.
The pink element adds a further layer of instability and rarity. Pink variegation in Alocasia is inherently more variable than standard albo expression, and the combination of both types in a single cultivar is what pushes 'Pink Passion Albo Pink' firmly into specimen territory. Bright indirect light, high humidity and consistent warmth will give this plant the best conditions in which to express its full variegation potential.
