European Plant Export Information
Shipping Premium Plants to Europe with Official Documentation
We're excited to offer our rare and exotic plant collection to European customers! To ensure your plants arrive safely and legally, all European deliveries require official phytosanitary certification as mandated by EU import regulations.
How Our Monthly Export System Works
Exporting plants legally requires expensive inspections and phytosanitary certificates. To reduce fees and streamline administration, all European orders are processed and exported together after our monthly inspection window closes. This batch system makes international shipping more efficient and cost-effective for everyone.
Monthly Export Schedule
- Plant inspections: Conducted around the 20th of each month by certified plant health officials
- Order window: Closes on the 20th of each month
- Order processing: All orders fulfilled immediately after certificates are issued
- Shipping window: All European deliveries dispatched by month-end
- Email notifications: Tracking information sent before dispatch
Pricing and What's Included
- Phytosanitary certificate: £25 per plant (converted to Euro at current rates)
- Delivery charge: €25 per order (covers any quantity of plants)
- Heat pad protection: Included with every shipment
- Professional packaging: Specialist plant packaging included

Adding to Existing Orders
If you've already placed a European order this month and want to add more plants, choose "add to existing order" at checkout (no additional shipping fees). Use the same email address or include your order number in the checkout notes. All items will be combined into one package with a single phytosanitary certificate.
Legal Requirements and Import Responsibilities

Plant Description
A true collector's gem, the *Alocasia Longiloba Pink Back Albo* is an exceptionally rare find. This striking variation showcases dramatic contrast—deep green foliage tops paired with delicate pink and white undersides that glow when backlit. As new leaves unfurl, the interplay of colour is truly breathtaking. Retaining the same elegant growth habit as the classic Longiloba, this tropical beauty brings bold sophistication to any rare plant collection. A must-have for serious Alocasia enthusiasts seeking something uniquely enchanting.
Light
The Longiloba Pink Back Albo thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sun exposure, which can scorch its delicate, variegated leaves. A spot near an east or north-facing window is ideal to keep its striking foliage vibrant and healthy.
Water & Humidity
Keep the soil of your Longiloba Pink Back Albo evenly moist but not soggy. Water thoroughly when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. High humidity (60% or above) is essential for optimal growth—consider using a humidifier, pebble tray, or grouping it with other tropical plants to maintain moisture in the air.
Fertiliser
Feed your Longiloba Pink Back Albo monthly during the active growing season (spring through early autumn) with a diluted, balanced liquid fertiliser. Reduce feeding frequency or pause entirely during the winter months when growth slows.
Growth Rate
The Longiloba Pink Back Albo is a moderate grower, forming stunning arrow-shaped foliage as it matures. Under ideal growing conditions, you can expect new leaves every few weeks during warmer seasons.
Pet Safety
Unfortunately, the Longiloba Pink Back Albo is not pet-safe. Its leaves contain insoluble calcium oxalates, which can cause irritation and gastrointestinal distress if ingested by cats, dogs, or other animals. Keep out of reach of furry friends.
Grow in Semi-Hydro
The Longiloba Pink Back Albo transitions beautifully into semi-hydroponic setups. Use LECA (Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate) and a suitable vessel with a reservoir. Maintain consistent nutrient levels with hydroponic fertilizer, and ensure roots remain oxygenated and never fully submerged.
Tips
- Rotate your plant regularly to encourage even growth on all sides.
- Wipe the leaves occasionally with a damp cloth to remove dust and boost photosynthesis.
- If leaves start yellowing, check for overwatering or root rot; adjust care accordingly.
- Repot every 1–2 years or when the plant becomes rootbound to encourage healthy development.
- Watch for common pests such as spider mites and aphids—treat promptly with insecticidal soap if necessary.
