Plant Description
Alocasia Dragon Scale Albo: Rare White Variegated Textured Houseplant
A fusion of texture and white variegation. The Alocasia Dragon Scale Albo carries highly prized white variegation that contrasts sharply against the signature distinctively textured, dragon scale-like leaves.
Why Collectors Value Dragon Scale Albo
This rare variegated Alocasia cultivar shows white patches and sections that contrast with the Dragon Scale's deep green colouration, giving a specimen where each plant displays its own variegation pattern. The textured foliage combined with Albo variegation makes this an exceptional addition to a serious collection.
A Statement Plant for Advanced Growers
Suited to experienced Alocasia collectors, this cultivar keeps the same high humidity requirements as the standard Dragon Scale while asking for slightly more careful light management because of the chlorophyll-free white sections. The combination of the scale-like texture with rare white variegation makes this collector's houseplant a long-term keeper in any tropical plant collection.
All plants are grown in Fluval Stratum, our preferred early-stage medium for corms and baby Alocasia, held in our 3D printed Corm Keeper stand. Once fully rooted and at juvenile size we repot into our own pon mix, blended from components in our Soil Ninja range.
