Feeding Alocasia correctly is one of the areas where collectors most commonly go wrong: either overfeeding and burning sensitive roots, underfeeding and watching growth stall, or reaching for generic houseplant fertilisers that simply do not address what these plants actually need. Alocasia are heavy feeders during active growth but highly sensitive to nutrient imbalance, and the difference between a plant that is merely surviving and one that is actively thriving often comes down to what it is being fed and how consistently.

The feeds and nutrients in this collection have been selected specifically for tropical foliage plants, with Alocasia at the centre of that selection process. We are not stocking generic plant food and rebranding it for collectors; these are products chosen for their ability to support the specific requirements of Alocasia, from magnesium for vibrant leaf colouration and variegation expression through to phosphorus for robust root development and the micronutrients that prevent the deficiencies that show up as yellowing, browning edges, and poor new growth.
