PLANT SPOTLIGHT
ALOCASIA
DRAGON SCALE ALBO VARIEGATED
Alocasia baginda 'Dragon Scale' is one of the most texturally striking plants in the entire genus. The heavily embossed, silver-green leaves — etched with deep contrasting venation that genuinely resembles dragon scales — have made this species a cornerstone of serious Alocasia collections worldwide.
The albo variegated form is something else entirely.
Chimeric white and cream sectors cut across those dramatic scaled leaves in patterns that are never repeated twice. That's the nature of chimeric albo variegation — unstable, unpredictable, and completely unique per plant. What you receive will not look identical to any other Dragon Scale Albo in existence. That's not a caveat. That's the point.
These plants have been grown from corm right here at the nursery — propagated properly, established, and grown on with care before making it into this drop. No shortcuts, no tissue culture. Just patient, in-house propagation the way it should be done.
This is not a plant you find easily. Albo expression on baginda is genuinely scarce, and availability at this level of quality is rarer still. As always, this drop is extremely limited.
Drop: Sunday 4pm. Subscriber access only.
